9:47 p.m.

Walleye scored again with around 3 min left to make the score 4-3. The Walleye pulled their goalie with around 2 min to go. Toledo had a couple chances to score, but the Growlers won.

Deb and I listened to the end of the game on the radio in the parking lot of Whiskey and the Wolf. We ate Impossible Burgers and drank tasty beverages at W&W. We sat at the bar. I drank two rye old fashioneds. We had a great conversation with the bar tender. I ate sweet potato fries with my vegan burger. The brown sugar-based dipping sauce for the fries was amazing. Music from the 70s and 80s and early 90s played over the speaker system. One TV aired and old, Japanese monster movie, maybe with Godzilla. Another TV aired the Pink Panther cartoon that I watched as a kid. And a third TV aired black and white shows of I Love Lucy.

7:47 p.m.

About 9 min left. Score still 4-2.

7:33 p.m.

Walleye scored early in the 3rd period. Score now 4-2. Still about 15 minutes left.

7:05 p.m.

Sky clouded over late this morning. Low cloud cover existed all afternoon with a light wind and a tich more humidity.

A minute ago, I turned my radio to AM 1230 to listen to the Toledo Walleye ECHL hockey team play in game 6 of the Kelley Cup finals. Newfoundland Growlers lead the series 3 games to 2. NG won the first two games at home. Toledo won 2 of the next 3 games, which were all played in Toledo. Game 6 and if necessary, game 7 will be played in Newfoundland.

Tonight's game 6 started at 5:30 p.m. our time. Newfoundland is 90 minutes ahead of the U.S. eastern time zone.

When I turned on the radio, the game or match was late in the second period, which ended seconds ago. Newfoundland leads 4 to 1. Newfoundland led 1-0 after one period.

I'm not a hockey fan. I attended Toledo Storm games back in the 1990s at the old sports aroma. Since the Walleye started several years ago, I've only attended one or two games. The Walleye are a big Toledo area attraction, like the Mud Hens baseball team. The last time that I attended a Hens game was 2007.

I'm not much of a sports fan anymore, except for watching the Cleveland Browns and a smattering of other NFL games and a couple golf tournaments. I'd rather spend my time and money at a bar or restaurant, instead of at the Walleye and Hens sporting events. But it would be nice if Toledo wins.

A new poll finds former Vice President Joe Biden with a commanding lead over President Trump in North Carolina, a state the president narrowly won in 2016.

It's all over. As soon as Biden entered the race back in March or April of this year, 2019, that was it. He won the November 2020 prez election.
